Update and Reflection April 2025

As the year 2025 began I opted to take a step back and evaluate my goals and aspirations when it comes to this apostolate ministry. I am in a position to recognize that my youth in the faith and immaturity could potentially be a hinderance to my goals with this page. With this in mind, I began praying about how I might could still use the page to bring others to the fullness of faith in a way that is, at the very least, uncommon and something that I could do well at. Ever since I began to study the scriptures deeply, I have been drawn to the original Koine Greek of the New Testament and have studied it both in and outside of the classroom. I have decided for the time being that I would love to use the knowledge that I have gained through these studies to write a series of articles on the wealth of wisdom that is found in the scriptures as they were written in the original greek. These topics will likely range from mere christianity to was the original language strengthens the Catholic position.

Until then, I would love to share a written prayer with you. One of my favorite past times is to hand write my thoughts as I find it much more enjoyable to write on an actual piece of paper (in fact, most everything that you will see on this page goes first into a note book where it is barely legible and terribly miss-spelled).

Lord,

Strengthen my desire for you. as you hung from the cross in the midst of your passion, you said “I Thirst”. In that same thirst, let your children ache for you. Let me ache for you. In that moment of my ache, I too often fail to recognize for whome my desire is for and I waste my passions on vices of the flesh. Let me look to you in my weakness and see your battered arms stretched upon the hard wood of the cross; but this time, let me not raise my hand to strike you, but rather, give me the wisdom to embrace you.

Amen
